For reasons that I suppose I’ll never understand, some of you have described Juliette Lewis as “pretty hawt” and “total girlfriend material,” in spite of her large, looming monster Scientology box. So, it occurred to me that perhaps Juliette, as a roller derby league skater named “Dinah Might” in the upcoming Whip It, would appeal to you freaks. Starring alongside Juliette’s box are Ellen Page as “Bliss Cavendar,” Zoe Bell as “Bloody Holly,” and Drew Barrymore (who also directs the film) as “Smashley Simpson.” At first glance, this film doesn’t really appeal to me, but I will say that, regardless of how crazy these character names sound, the outfit that Miss Juliette is sporting doesn’t look nearly as deranged as those creepy new Scientology uniforms.
Whip It releases on October 9th.

I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something I like about her.
In case you missed it and want to catch the rerun, another of your favorite subjects who happens to be in a band was on Top Chef the other night. Zoe Deschanel is a strict vegan with a gluten allergy and doesn’t eat soy.
My first thought: “Oh shit! Don’t let her be a freak too.” Nope. She managed to make herself the most adorable vegan ever.
Yes, she is pretty hawt. Again, too bad about the scientology thing.
That said, on a set with Drew and Ms. Page, She comes in at third, maybe lower once I get a chance to study some of the other team members.
I assume that’s Drew in the rainbow socks? hubba hubba.
Flynny: I had no idea she was a vegan! That’s pretty hardcore. I’ve been ovo-lacto vegetarian since age 18, but I couldn’t even imagine giving up eggs, cheese, and (most of all) ice cream.
Aggie: Well then, Juliette may very well come in 4th place. The blonde that, at least in these photos, sort of looks like Kate Hudson is actually Zoe (another one) Bell. She’s a career stuntwoman (hails from New Zealand) who doubled for Lucy Lawless in “Xena” and Uma Thurman in “Kill Bill.” She’s pretty cute too.
I am SO there. I love the plaid skirt, and the helmet conceals her five-head. (Do you suppose they had to have it custom made?) There is definitely something appealing to me about her — it’s probably that she’s psychotic.
It is like Jack Donaghy demonstrated…the crazy pu**y is a hell of a drug.
AND THAT IS ZOE BELL? Oh. My. All these ladies…. I need a minute. And some more pants.
I like the new Ideal Org uniforms. They look sharp; especially the two-tone tie. I have the same thing but instead of red my cult uses silver (to protect against were-thingees).
Ooh, red really is the bad colour! At least, that’s how it is in one of those awful M. Night Shyamalan movies.
My cult uses a rainbow of fruit flavours. Hey wait…
