Gratuitous Insincere Tom Cruise Photos Of The Day: “Blush Or Rash?” Edition

By Bedhead in Katie Holmes, Smoking Bolts, Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise

Cruise Candy Rash

So Tom Cruise took his robot wife, Katie Holmes, and his nightmare-in-the-making daughter, Suri Cruise, to a candy shop over the weekend. No big deal there, right? Well, if you check out the below photo, it appears that the Cruise’s face turned bright red while he was inside the candy shop. Is it a rash? Probably not, for as we’re all aware, Scientologists in good standing are physically unable to get sick or develop rashes. Instead, we’ll just assume that Cruise was actually blushing; perhaps he caught a glimpse of some P-E-N-I-S gummies or, even better, one of those cock blocker things. Good times, mates!

Scientologists partake in quack therapy that involves an overdose of niacin, I believe.

Some of them get this kind of reaction while they are on it.

It’s probably called “The Purification Rundown” or some such clap trap.

Niacin vitamins cause rashes like that. Perfectly legal.

Why are you deleting or not approving comments which state that the flush looks very much like the result of the Niacin (vitamin B) overdoses that the scientology quackery Purification Rundown process uses? Ex-scientologists report that this face/neck flushing due to Niacin saturation is a very common occurance and it is confirmed as a medically documented side-effect. Also, not so visible until it is too late, there is the acute liver damage that can result from repeated excessive doses (not to mention the rest of the cocktail of vitamins, minerals and oil that their quackery insists that you ingest).
Google: Niacin flush.

The “flushing” is caused by megadoses of Niacin, which is part of Scientology’s dangerous “Purification Rundown”. This combined with other megadoses of vitamins and hours in a sauna is supposed to rid the body of drugs stored in fat cells, according to pretend-scientist L.Ron Hubbard. The Purification Rundown has been debunked by real medical experts (drug residue is not stored in fat cells, for one thing) and is in fact deemed highly dangerous and has caused several deaths at Scientology “drug rehabs”. High doses of Niacin can severely damage your liver.

It looks like a niacin flush, which is part of the “Purification Rundown” in Scientology. So why is he doing a “Purification Rundown”? It is often employed to get drugs and toxins out of the system (although there is no science that backs up that it actually does anything).
