Out-of-context quotes can be reputation killers in the wrong hands, and no one knows this more lately than Angelina Jolie.

One of the central quotes that the tabloids ran with was when Angelina referred to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt as a “blob.” Speaking from my own personal experience, she’s pretty much correct. Until a child reaches approximately six months of age, their entire personality is that of a sponge intermittently sprinkled with smiles and burps. Angelina’s play-date mommy friend, Gwen Stefani, talks about her son Kingston and Shiloh:

Yeah! They were like two little blobs when they met. Maybe they’ll get married when they grow up? That’d be cute!

Oh and about that masculinity reference, Gwen was speaking of exercise preferences:

I’m not into yoga and Pilates — they don’t work for me and I don’t have the patience. I’m more like a man, I like going to the gym and lifting weights or doing a little boxing.
