Oh lookie, it seems that Gwyneth Paltrow had attempted to sell her Manhattan home for $13.75 million, and just a day later, she took it off the market in an attempt to curb the effects of her unpatriotic statements.
Although GPal insisted that her words were misquoted, it is clear upon examination that these “fake quotes” were a cut-and-paste job from older interviews. These were things she really did say.
The obligatory publicist reactive statement is that the home must have been listed as a mistake, which sorta makes sense if random real estate listings regularly make their way into the papers. Or not.
Yet these semantics are just trivial in comparison to Gwyneth’s new non-capitalistic endeavor:
“Estee Lauder, a leading manufacturer in the field of skin care and makeup, has announced the launch of its new bath and beauty collection. The limited edition collection, inspired by the Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, will hit the store shelves in January next year.
“The 75 ml spray bottle with frosted ballerina pink covering and a beautifully chic gold label is priced at $74.83.”
Isn’t that cute? At almost seventy-five yankee dollars, that’s almost affordable. As expected, we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek:

Does Gwyn believe we actually care what she thinks about Americans? So much so that she’d take her house off the market to appease us? Oh, Gwyn dear, we just like to have some reason to make fun of you. Some specific reason. Other than the usual ones.
Agent I love this fake Gwyneth ad. I want to make it big and see it higher res. If you have a better version, please link to it!
Nevermind, I just had to turn off Norton Internet Security, which blocks popups.
Other than the popup version? I’ll see what I can do later tonight.
Ahhh. And we commented simultaneously. BFFs indeed.
Well that’s the last time I use Estee Lauder product.
