In the entirety of my blog tenure (six years now?), I’ve never gone without a venting outlet for so long. So, while it is to our great relief that the technical issues appear to be sliding downslope, this initial post sort of feels like the first time I wore a bikini to the neighborhood swimming pool. In other words, wetting the feet seems like a great idea right about now, and I can’t think of a better way to do just that than by posting a few promotional stills that have filtered in over the past week or so. Above, Diane Lane and John Malkovich get family-friendly in Secretariat. Presumably, they’re cheering at the horse races, but one never knows when Malkovich is concerned.
