. . . the unreceptive body language, the expressionless faces, the sunglasses, the toothpick, the unkempt blonde hair, the mutually frumpy attire, the oversized “clearly high maintenance” bag that no lovesick woman would carry while in the relatively early stages of a relationship . . . and most of all, the handholding with no fingers intertwined . . . merely platonic and only for show . . .
