The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were held last night, and there’s no reason to go into a whole lot of excessive, tedious detail about the event. Let’s just say some people won some stuff and other people didn’t and leave it at that. Meanwhile, why don’t we take a peek in the celebrity giftbags the Grammy people were handing out? Hmmm. One high-tech item in this year’s giftbag was the Ohmibod, which is basically a wireless vibrator that will tap into your iPod and buzz along with the music while you’re doing whatever you’d do with a vibrating cylindrical gizmo that’s slightly over eight inches long. Those Grammy people really know how to attend to their gusts most intimate needs.

Another item in the giftbag was the Ritmo prenatal sound system, which lets an expectant mother play music to their future Gaga or Kanye without the messy inconvenience of that earbud insertion process. Somehow this seems like a slightly odd pairing with the Ohmibod. So far as I know, iPod-induced pregnancy is a technological hat trick Steve Jobs is still months away from perfecting.
