God Bless Ozzy Osbourne premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend, and the audience for the documentary covering the career of the renowned bat-muncher included some of Ozzy’s biggest fans. For example, Ozzy Osbourne, who was reduced to tears as he watched the documentary (produced by his son Jack) explore his musical career, his stage antics, his private life, and his 40-year struggle with drugs and alcohol:
Ozzy actually cried when his best friend Rudy Sarzo spoke about him,” Jack revealed to the New York Post. “It was very moving.” Osbourne was quick to gather his emotions after the screening and returned to his usual humorous self.
It would be nice to think Ozzy was crying as he considered what an immense wasted mess he’s been for most of the past four decades, and not because he was so deeply moved by The Greatest Story Ever Told. Then again, that might actually be the case. According to an interview Jack did with the New York Times, as he rode home after the screening Ozzy asked Sharon: “I’m not that bad, am I?”

40-year struggle with drugs and alcohol
I think the only struggle Ozzy has had with these topics is to not over do it.
