Jane Fonda confesses that she’d love to travel and speak out against the continuing U.S. presence in Iraq, but dammit, Cindy Sheehan is totally kicking her ass at it!

“I wanted to do a tour like I did during the Vietnam War, a tour of the country, but then Cindy Sheehan filled in the gap, and she is better at this than I am. I carry too much baggage.”

Well, I wouldn’t say that Cindy Sheehan is actually good at what she does, but at least she’s mildly entertaining in the process, unlike Jane Fonda. Perhaps the Georgia Senate smackdown is what really gave Fonda the butterflies, since they refused to honor Jihad Jane for her recent philanthropic efforts.

Ah well. At least she still has Ted Turner, her “favorite ex-husband,” to lean on, and if that fails, she can always get back into making those horrid workout videos. C’mon, Jane, it’s the little things in life.
