Over the weekend, the new teaser trailer for Piranha 3D briefly appeared online before being yanked by The Weinstein Company. It remains a mystery as to precisely why the trailer was removed, but (even though I’m so over the latest 3D resurgence) that doesn’t change the fact that I’m still rather curious about and am looking forward to the movie. Piranha 3D is directed by Alexander Aja and stars, among others, Elizabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss, and Jerry O’Connell. Hell, even Eli Roth shall make a cameo appearance as an emcee for a wet t-shirt contest, but, for now, you’ll just have to settle for this short video clip of O’Connell spoofing Joe “Girls Gone Wild” Francis. Incidentally, O’Connell also does a good job nailing Tom Cruise’s freakiness too. Kinda scary, really.
