Hey, remember the last time we talked about actor Johnathon Schaech? Well, it was back in mid-May, and we’d taken a most curious interest of a “status update” on his MySpace (“Johnathon is single again… Any takers?”), which pointed towards a more detailed “personal ad” on his own website:

I’m single. Broken hearted. Older then I look.

I want someone who can understand and love me. I want that person to respect family values and themselves.

I want someone who looks past petty things and has a sense of integrity.

I wanna be able to move somewhere better to raise children and I want someone who’s independant [sic] and adventerous [sic].

Age doesn’t matter. Outside of acting and writing.

I love sports, dogs, cats, Baltimore, red wine, sex : ) and politics.

I’m a very busy man trying hard to make things happen in Hollywood. I need someone who doesn’t take away from me, but makes me better.

From the looks of things, Schaech was taking his divorce (from Christina Applegate) pretty hard, and it seemed like the fellow was taking “a truly disastrous approach” to finding a new ex-wife. Just a few months later, the dude is inexplicably engaged to actress Jana Kramer and has posted the proposal video on Facebook. Celebitchy wonders if this public approach is “creepy or sweet.” Obviously, my vote lands on the “creepy” side, but when a cab’s light is “on,” there’s no stopping the inevitable accident.
