With all of the serious undertones surrounding the rather disgusting cult of Scientology, one sometimes just has to look at the absurdity of it all and, well, laugh one’s ass off in an uproarious manner. The so-called leader of Scientology, David Miscavage, served as Best Man at Tom Cruise’s wedding to Katie Holmes, and, according to some sources, also accompanied the “couple” on their Maldivian honeymoon. Dude is even shorter than Tom himself, if you can believe that.

Rumours have long-swirled about the true nature of the Miscavage-Cruise friendship, and, now, Miscavage has been “outed” at Who’s Dated Who? by someone who is, undoubtedly, a prankster, but, naturally, the original webpage has already disappeared. Luckily for you, a screen capture of that moment, in all its ephemeral beauty, still exists for your viewing pleasure:

My assumption is that Scientology’s legal force, which, undoubtedly, is constantly tuned into a series of Google alerts, got this shit taken down, pronto. Why so defensive? In regards to the highly-controlled Tom Cruise and his alcoholic “best friend” with a serious little man complex, feel free to draw your own conclusions here because, hey, it really is funny as hell.
