Matthew McConaughey is still doing his mostly shirtless thing, it seems, and it looks like the Surfer Dude is expanding his empire:
The new father is finishing up touches on Surfer Dude - the movie he produced with his company, jk livin’ (”just keep livin’ “) - and now he wants to start a record label. A source said, “He’s looking for a distribution deal with all the major labels for his own label. His first artist is a reggae guy called Mishka. The album will be called Above the Bones and the first single is ‘Here Comes Da Train.’ He’s also doing the soundtrack for Surfer Dude.” McConaughey’s rep confirmed the story but said, “There is no single yet.”
A record label. What a great opportunity for bongos! As amusing I find McConaughey to generally be, a threshold, which Camila Alves seems immune to, does in fact exist — McConaughey’s delivery-room stupidity:
[T]he couple arrived at the hospital, and that was where Camila’s contractions — and the dancing — began.
“Contractions started kicking in, and we found a great rhythm,” McConaughey told OK! “We had a 14-hour session, her and I did. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it. We danced to it. I was DJing this native Brazilian music.”
Bloody hell. After 14 hours of McConaugheyhey dancing through the pain, I probably would have killed him. Since Camilla claims to find this behavior charming, however, Matty got around to the father-son bonding:
“I had him for the first 15 minutes because they had to take care of Camila,” he relates. “I said, ‘Come here, little man.’ I saw the pecker and screamed that we’d been right all along about him being a boy. Then I brought him over to her.”
