When a girl dumps her boyfriend for alleged cheating, one of the healthier ways to nurse a broken heart is by weeping into the arms of a gay man. Kate Moss is doing just that by staying with her good friend and celebrity hairdresser, James Brown. He seems to be the perfect antidote for the non-groomed Pete Doherty.

After allegations of Doherty’s infidelity, Moss rid her home of his belongings and has also reportedly engaged in a ceremonial burning of the pile of poems, letters, and lyrics that he’s bestowed upon her during their relationship:

“Kate gathered quite a collection of Pete’s ramblings over the two years.

“He used the lyrics from his song What Katie Did — which was written about a totally different Kate — to pull her in the first place.

“It continued throughout the relationship. She has piles of love letters, poems, songs and paintings.

“Now Kate has decided to cleanse herself of him by burning the lot.

“It all stinks a bit of a high school break-up.”

In addition, the couple’s initial argument was reportedly over a substantial pile of cash that Pete had apparently lifted without Kate’s permission. Pete was presumably pouting over getting his hand slapped over his drug money, so he went to the pub, met “Lindi,” and got his ass dumped by Kate Moss.

Now without Moss to literally pay for everything, Pete Doherty’s life has fallen completely into the gutter. Earlier this week, he failed to jump start his car after it broke down in London.

Even worse, Pete has failed to make the child support payments for his four-year old son with previous ex-girlfriend, singer Lisa Moorish, and she has issued him a writ. Now Pete is a junkie and a deadbeat dad. Oh, Bullocks.
