Well, it took over a year, but sculptor Marc Quinn’s Kate Moss exhibition, including the Aphrodite statue, has gone on display at the Mary Boone gallery in New York City. The exhibition contains seven bronze and white-painted bronze statutes and will show until the end of June:
Quinn said they represent “an image, and the way it is twisted and sculpted by our collective desire”.
He said the yoga pose sculpture showed Moss as “a knotted Venus of our age”.
A polished bronze named “Sphinx (Road to Enlightenment),” shows Moss sitting in the lotus position.
The model did not get into the contortions herself – Quinn used her head and face but drew the positions from a yoga expert.
These sculptures are expected to sell for up to to £1 million in NYC following the exhibit. And to think that Pete Doherty gets to see Kate do that every night for free.
Thanx to the flexible Sondra K. for the tip!

Only one thing to say… WTF?!?!
A real artist can draw/sculpt more than one face.
