Kate Winslet says the growing popularity of “size zero” female stars and models is “unbelievably disturbing”.
During an interview on BBC One’s ‘Sunday AM’ to talk about her latest film, ‘The Holiday’, the Oscar-nominated actress said: “What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner.”
Winslet, who has two children, added that she refuses to have magazines showing thin stars in the house because of the damaging effect it could have on her six-year-old daughter.
“It’s only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it and it frightens the life out of me,” said the actress.
See it’s not just Brazilian Fashionistas and the fine upstanding “journalists” from agentbedhead.com that are tired of stick figures parading down the catwalk. Really you wouldn’t expect Kate Moss, as often as she’s naked, to win the coveted Best Naked Scene award from Mr. Skin now would you? Nope, that goes to the ladies with the curves.
As an aside. Who snapped pictures of the 12 year-old boy in a banana hammock and claimed Kate Moss is running around topless again (Link NSFW)?

Kate Winsett’s ‘Extras’ episode is one of the funniest 30 minutes ever shot in television history. She’s a fox too. And she smokes. Which I like. I’ll bet she can drink as well.
You owe me 5 minutes of my life back for making me look at Kate Moss naked.
love kate winslet.
