Well, it looks like becoming a so-called “global superstar phenom” has turned Katy Perry into a bit of a Mariah Carey-esque diva, at least according to this tidbit from the weekly edition of the Popbitch newsletter:

For someone who likes to dress up for her videos, you’d think that Katy Perry would have a better understanding of what a costume fitting entails.

Apparently not, as when she was told by the costume designer that she was going to take the cupcake bra that she wore in the California Gurls video in by a few inches, Perry exploded and shouted in disbelief “Why couldn’t you get it right the first time?”

Gee, she looks so darned sweet and unassumping in this photo still from the video, no?
