Why you freaks don’t see the humour in this is quite obviously beyond my humble capacity to comprehend:
Subjectivity is a beautiful thing, for it allows one to realize the uniqueness of humour. This may seem like an awfully simplistic observation, but I take comfort in Velociman’s statements during the following conversation:
The Agent: Often when I’m writing, I amuse myself so much that I just laugh my ass off. Repeatedly. Does this happen to you?
Velociman: Oh, hell, I often laugh my ass off at what I’ve written. Tears coarse down my face. Often as not, these are the posts I eventually pull down as ultimately unsatisfactory. It seems one can highly amuse one’s inner twisted sense of humor, with all the obtuse and obscure inner references that sense of humor entails. In other words, what I may find screamingly amusing, no one else gets. They don’t share my context or my own particular points of reference.
Wise man, ‘dat. Sho’ now…….

I do that too. Then for some reason I won’t get one comment on that post. Am I the only one with the sense of humor @ my blog? sheesh!
Hilarious. I’ve been chuckling over the Kitlers for the past hour. My co-workers are beginning to think me mad……………………………
They will not fair well in the new world order.
Then again, consider the posts that Velociman does choose to leave up: the ones about gerbilling, fletching, etc. Half the time when I visit his site, I feel the need to bleach my eyeballs afterwards. Of course, I never can resist going back for more. Heh.
What Tony said. Exactly.
Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Furball!
Alright, Kate…..I admit a few occasions when I visited Velociworld and immediately slammed the browser shut with a scream.
Oddly enough, he’s quite tame in person. I do suppose we all have our alter agos.
I just wrote a post and am laughing myself sick here. Just keeping you, ahh, posted.
My husband is German and he’s not quite sure what the caption on the kitler says. That cat is really cute and definitely looks like Hitler.
I do laugh at my own posts, but then somehow think I’m being lame and try to suppress my humor.
Kitler is using a loose translation of “long live the axis powers” or some such nonsense. He really should strive to be a bit more politically correct, eh?
