The career of semi-talented singer/songwriter (and smokin’ hottie!!) Amy Winehouse continues to evolve in interesting directions. Winehouse just backed out of an upcoming show in St. Polten, Austria, because of “exhaustion,” which makes four cancellations in a week, starting with her Liverpool no-show. Now bookies in the UK are offering 50-50 odds on Amy cancelling her next two shows, at the Eden Project in Cornwall on Tuesday and the rescheduled Liverpool gig on Wednesday. A spokesperson for William Hill Bookmakers told the Liverpool Daily Post: “Amy has cancelled too many concerts of late for us not to give out odds of her pulling out of the next one. We don’t believe she will turn up to play in Liverpool.”

Amy has a history of missing shows, usually right after she’s been seen on hours-long drinking binges, which suggests that “exhaustion” is Winehousese for “vicious, pounding hangover.” As long as she insists on saying “no, no, no,” to rehab, she might want to consider doing a follow-up song called “Denial.” It’s not just a river in Egypt, Amy.
