Which, given the difference between my net worth and hers (estimates vary) would be roughly equivalent to me giving you 50 cents. And things like that never bother me. I do not think Madonna is stupid, per se; however, she completely underestimated the absolute void of depth maintained by floozy spears.
Madonna should have known better than to waste her time.
I”””ll actually take Britney”””s side here. She”””s an ignorant idiot, but she seems somewhat aware of that. Britney rarely if ever talks politics, and she”””s seeing a Baptist life counselor about her lousy marriage”””which sounds like a more serious approach than dabbling in glitzy arcana.
Madonna, OTOH, isn”””t smart enough to know her own limitations. Her political comments are just embarrassing (remember her ”””Rock the Vote””? ads on MTV, when she neglected to vote?), and I”””ll bet part of Kabbalah”””s appeal was Material Girl”””s inner certainty that she”””s much smarter than the Catholic masses (sorry, couldn”””t resist). All the more ironic that she”””s chosen a trendy New Age package that resembles actual Kabbalah about as much as Dan Brown resembles John Paul II. See Wikipedia, for example.
