…but he is struggling to remain in the limelight and he’s also a cheap bastard.
If you’re not familiar with MC Hammer, from Wikipedia:
MC Hammer (born Stanley Kirk Burrell on March 30, 1962) is an American MC who was popular during the late 1980s and early 1990s, known for his dramatic rise to and fall from fame and fortune, his trademark parachute pants, and for leaving a lasting influence on hip hop culture and music. He became a preacher in the 1990s and now has his own television program. He lives in Tracy, California with his wife Stephanie and six children, 3 boys and 3 girls.
Well the Reverend Hammer is back in the news again, kind of, if you call the steaming pile of crap that is Hannity’s America news. So basically he’s found a way to get back on TV, without following Bobby Brown’s footsteps of beating his wife or being a crackhead.
Why is he on the TV? He wants to Bring Our Brothers Home.
I guess if you can’t make it as an actor or musician you can always use your superior intellect and fashion sense (anybody remember parachute pants?) to let us little people know what is wrong with the world today. Because, you know, it sounds so much better and makes so much more sense coming from somebody whose claim to fame is sing Stop, Hammer Time.
The least he could do is spring for a domain and get off damned blogspot, but I guess after blowing thirty million you’ve got to save a penny any way possible.
Just so you can remember the greatness that once was.
Stop, Hammer Time.

Yeah, so let’s say we did “Bring (His) Brothers Home.” Ten minutes later, Al Sharpton would be all over the air-waves complaining about the military’s racial discrimination now that brothers weren’t eligible for the significantly higher combat pay.
[...] AB: MC Hammer isn’t dead… [...]
derail: hey I was reading this interview with Dan Rather and he was talking about the evil incarcerated blonde:
“If you notice, it isn’t just anybody’s evening news. That the front page of the New York Times took space the other day to talk about, I know we don’t mention her name, so I will call her Rome Marriott.”

I lobby that to avoid giving her any more publicity, from now on all sites now call her Rome Marriot, (although Peoria Motel6 might be more appropriate).
Have you seen the Hallmark Father’s Day commercial? http://tinyurl.com/3yp2e5
By the way, HATE the white on black, but whatever.
Hate the white on black?
Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
God, now THAT is dancing. Not this swaying back and forth talking ’bout your ‘bitch’. I miss him. I don’t even care whatever shit he’s up to now. I’m just going to sit back and relive the glory over and over again. Dance for me, MC, dance!
