And he doesn’t do thumb-challenged starlet Megan Fox any favors, either. Rourke’s latest film, Passion Play (where he costars with Fox and Bill Murray) is opening in an exceedingly limited release just to escape the dreaded “direct to DVD” label. Careerwise, it’s an unpleasant little speed bump for Rourke and Murray, and more of a “here comes the crater!” moment for Ms. Fox. At the Scream 4 premiere, Rourke made it clear he wouldn’t be doing any promotional tours for the new film (even though the filmmakers generously awarded him an Oscar in the coveted “Didn’t Actually Get an Oscar” category):
What about your movie with Megan Fox and Bill Murray?
Terrible. Another terrible movie. But, you know, in your career and all the movies you make, you’re going to make dozens of terrible ones. You called Megan Fox, like, one of the best actresses of all time.
That I worked with [smirk].That movie’s getting limited release.
That’s because it’s not very good.I know a good movie we can talk about: your rugby movie.
That’ll be a great movie. We start shooting February.
Say what you will about Mickey Rourke–his lifestyle, his wildly uneven choice of roles, whatever–the man is refreshingly free of Hollywood BS. Give Megan Fox a few decades of career hell, and maybe by 2035 she’ll have followed Rourke’s path and become a weatherbeaten wreck who’s kind of a hoot to hang out with.

Mickey Rourke is freaking HOT.
Like my tummy hurts hot.
Megan Fox will be doing pr0n within 5 years.
Maybe she’ll find out that she’s actually good at something…
[...] Even Mickey Rourke hates Passion Play, and he’s the star! (Agent Bedhead) [...]
