Yeah, I am still not here for all practical purposes. However, I was recently reminded of a moment when an otherwise wise man called Flea declared his devotion to Drew Barrymore by stating that he would “listen to her reading the telephone book.” Obviously, there is no accounting for one’s taste, but I do feel similarly about a few actors out there. One of them, Josh Hartnett, doesn’t thrill me so much visually as by his voice alone. A more forthright example of this phenomenon would be one Gerard Butler. Obviously, there is more to a film than just one voice, and Nim’s Island turned out to be both similar and different than I expected. Go find out why.
