Hey there. Trent Reznor, via his nin.com blog, has confirmed all that crap I’ve been rambling on about lately regarding his mysterious studio work and a joint 2009 tour between Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction. In addition, Trent has announced that, following the tour, he’s closing the door (for the foreseeable future) on Nine Inch Nails. This has something to do with the symbolic birth-death-rebirth of two relatively symbiotic bands and also the significance of a 20-year mark, but I (seriously) gotta stop blogging about this because some of you people are starting to send really shitty notes about not getting enough tits and ass around here.
Since Trent Reznor doesn’t believe in permalinks, his blog entry will pretty much be buried as soon as he writes about NIN’s current Australian tour dates. So, Reznor’s note to his fans is replicated below. Go read it–I’d call it virtual poetry if I didn’t fucking hate poetry so damn much–and I’ll go ponder the tits and ass thing. Or, maybe you can all just go fuck yourselves.
