This is either the most poorly thought out marketing idea ever, or the work of an absolutely black-hearted genius. As part of her transition to more adult fare, Miley is currently working on a new film for Touchstone (a wholly owned subsidiary of King Rodent) called The Last Song. The script is by Nicholas Sparks, so of course Miley’s character (Ronnie Harper) deals with love in various forms–first love, family love, and whether or not to give up some mysterious thing the Disney people coyly refer to as “her precious gift.” What better time, then, for Disney to debut an exciting new product? (Below the fold–trust me, you’ll see why):
