In the above photos, David and Victoria Beckham pose for adverts for yet another incarnation of their twin fragrances – “Intimately Beckham Night” – and in doing so, the couple foists their intimacy upon us:

Beckham, 32, said: ‘Not many people see this side of us and I think that’s what’s great about having a fragrance like this. It’s a way of us showing our dark side.’

Victoria added: ‘David and me, we are very intimate.’

It certainly is admirable that David Beckham hasn’t limited himself commercially, a trait which for better or worse, is likely due to Victoria’s influence and love of spending.

After Becks first goal for LA Galaxy weeks ago, Victoria reportedly went on a $100,000 spending spree. Meanwhile, Becks latest injury has left his knee in such bad shape that he’s reportedly out for the remainder of the season:

ESPN soccer analyst Tommy Smyth, who has interviewed Beckham twice, tells us: “Even if [Beckham] were to recover, he would only be available to play 15 or 20 minutes of a 90-minute game. He would need a tremendous amount of training to get back into game form.”

Perhaps David needs to hide a few of Victoria’s credit cards until he gets back in the game. This could take awhile.
