Dominic Monaghan has had an interesting career, going from Useless Hobbit #2 to lovable loser Charlie Pace on Lost. Charlie died heroically in Season Three, of course, but since then Monaghan has been reborn into the ratings hell that is FlashForward. At any rate: an interesting career, and he seems like a nice enough guy. So it’s painful to report that in real life, Monaghan can behave like Charlie Pace in his douchiest moments from the Drive Shaft days. Last month Monaghan was kicked out of Voyeur in Hollywood, allegedly for making “inappropriate gestures.” Now Mike Walker has the whole story, and it turns out that “inappropriate gestures” was some kind of euphemistic code for groping the caboose of every woman in the club:
He’d get behind girls and start rubbing their bottoms, ignoring outraged warnings to back off, or else! Women started complaining to management…
And from there the story goes downhill to its predictable conclusion. Monaghan’s misbehavior earned him a lifetime ban from Voyeur, which is probably as steely and inescapable as a Paris Hilton jail sentence. All the same, it’s too bad FlashForward is just a TV show. Given a little advance warning, Monaghan might decide not to audition for the role of Raving Ass Bandit.
