Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama met yesterday in private with rapper Ludacris. Luda was in town to launch the YouthAIDS “Kick Me” campaign to raise HIV/AIDS awareness during a stop at Northwestern University in a Chicago suburb. When asked Luda said “We talked about empowering the youth”.

Regretfully they didn’t describe in detail what type of empowerment, so I’ll assume Obabma’s campaign will borrow from Luda’s lyrics and promise bitches, blunts, beer and chicken in every crib. But don’t worry about Luda preaching violence, he just keeps his glocks around for protection. Maybe he can get one of Barack’s seekrit service guys to bust a cap in Oprah’s ass for dissin’ him a while back, yo.

I applaud Obama for reaching out to someone who is such a role model for today’s youth. Really I do, who doesn’t want their ten year old son referring to his female classmates as bitches. Especially when they start emulating Britney and flashing their no-no-cha-chas around.

I guess the good news is we don’t have to worry about Ludacris being a guest on Fox News since one of his favorite words is balls and well you just can’t go around saying balls on Fox News.

Maybe Obama and Ludacris can talk Kanye West into joining them on the campaign trail. Talk about a dream team. I guess they can hang up the Rock the Vote bit already. ’cause you know MTV hates black people.
