Aww, dammit. In a terribly unfortunate development, I can no longer look at a photo of Eli Roth and Christoph Waltz without thinking, “Does this go out to everyone’s blueberry?” Hence the above photo of Roth with the perfectly lovely Diane Kruger at the Movieline.com presentation of the 2009 Hamilton Awards. Meanwhile, the disarming Christoph can be found below alongside a promotional poster for the upcoming Cotton, which is directed by Daniel Stamm (whose debut film, A Necessary Death, is one that I’ve been frustratingly unable to get my hands upon). Cotton, a documentary-style exorcism flick, is produced by both Roth and Strike Entertainment and has already been picked up for distribution by StudioCanal. Film is said to be both modestly budgeted and remarkably well-done, but we shall reserve our final judgment for the theater screening. In other words, these guys had better bring it.
