Can someone tell me each variety of sitecounter deviates so strongly from the others? Really…this is absolutely absurd, to think that this blog actually got 54,380 hits in the month of January, only 313 of which were from porn-searches on google and such. Seriously, out of the twenty or so regular commentors around here, can you really believe that there are thousands of daily lurkers? I think not. The oddest part is that this counter reads so much differently than the old Typepad program’s counter, which is run by Six Apart, the same company that produces Movable Type. Screwy shit. That should convince y’all that sitecounters are bogus. Not that I’m suggesting that any of you care that much about traffic, but I just wanted to surreptitously lead up to the Velociboy photo.
Mission Accomplished. Whoa. It is pure torture to have to wait two more months to see this guy in a prom dress.

Sadie – we think alike. Most gals would probably want to see Velociboy in Speedos (mostly to test his theory about Girth), but you and me? We’d give anything to see him dressed in drag.
I’m afraid that isn’t going to happen. I leave the toenail painting to Acidman and Jim PRS. I do have the Jamaica Speedo pics, but I ain’t sharing those either.
OK. I relent. But I will only dress up as Betty Page.
woooooooohooooooooooooooooo! liv is gonna love that;-)
I’ve gone through a couple of free site counters and traffic monitors, and StatCounter.com has, so far, given me the most thorough info with the least hassle. You might try running it alongside your current counter to compare the stats for a couple of weeks. 54,380 hits a month –if it’s accurate– is awfully impressive.
Precisely my thoughts, Lucas…it cannot possibly be accurate. Thanks for the tips though…I shall have to look into it.
