Unlike George Clooney, who doesn’t even know how to get onto YouTube, our Pete Doherty certainly has intimate relations with the information superhighway. Pete has released another video onto the internets, and while this clip doesn’t feature a partially nude Kate Moss, the element of controversy is still present.
The seven-minute video features Pete mumbling unintelligibly at the London East End flat where Mark Blanco fell to his death during a party that Pete attended. This was an incident over which police quizzed Doherty, and Scotland Yard declared that they found no suspicious circumstances. Still, Pete seems to have some issues surrounding Blanco’s death, and he even wrote a song called “The Lost Art Of Murder (Part One),” which he sings in the video:
“I just thought I’d pop in to Paulo’s, a much-maligned figure, justifiably I suppose.”
“But on the whole, if drugs and suspicious deaths don’t get in the way, this place is quite creative for me.”
“This is a place I can come and play guitar and all that shit. I’ve written a few good songs here, like Fuck Forever.”
This is not exactly the classiest move, but it’s all fun and games ’till someone writes a bad song about it.
