Oh happy day!

The hip, young, and funky Manchester clothing label Goi-Goi has released teaser pictures of Pete Doherty’s first modelling shoot.

Pete has presumably designed his own line for Goi-Goi’s Spring/Summer 07 collection, though I’m not sure that silkscreening black t-shirts really qualifies as the act of designing. More like dabbling in grafitti, wouldn’t you say?

“Giving Mossy a run for her money, Pete pouts and looks moody in his range of cool kegs and t-shirts - in one sequence, the singer who’s overcoming heroin and crack cocaine addiction [sic], even sports a tee emblazoned with the words, ‘Drug Free’.”

Apparently, the threshold for modelling skills isn’t so difficult to reach either, as previous rock lines have been designed and modelled by The Rolling Stones, Oasis, and Primal Scream, among others. If you are suitably impressed, head over to Goi-Goi for a chance to attend a sooper seekrit Babyshambles show, wherein Pete is supposed to reveal his entire fashion line. Who knows, maybe he’ll actually attend this gig.
