Leading wastrel Peter Doherty must have grown disenchanted with his rock star existence yet again, since he’s skipped out on his solo slot at the London Diesel gig in favor of posting more bizarre videos on YouTube. This round began with a video called staff can’t come in this room (available here), which contains footage of Doherty, apparently, evoking a character named “Burt Wurzel” while attempting to light up a pipe while some chick pours a bucket of water over his head. The disjointed footage is tied together only by the sounds of a Babyshambles song, “Pipedown,” playing in the background with the following lyrics:
Oh Paddy put the pipe down
If you got the right sound
If it’s not the right sound
Neither am I, oh my oh my
Do your sums
Work out a fairer way
If it comes undone
Just paper over the cracks
And there ain’t no turning back
As expected, this video has drawn some media attention, and now Doherty tells us that it was all just a bit of make-believe fun: “crack? crack crack crack crack crack, you presumptious, hateful weirdo’s [sic].” Then, in mocking response, Peter posted the following video of himself and his son behaving in a rather annoying manner:

Btw, Perez Hilton somehow felt the need to become much more of an attention whore by leaving a comment on Peter’s video.
It says “You’re a crackhead! Denial is a horrible thing.”… cause hey, when your parents fuck you up so badly when you were a kid that you’re now willing to whore yourself out just to get an inch of attention from total strangers and wear hello kitty hats even though you’re fucking 30, then you are the perfect person to talk about someone else’s problems.
