As part of her continuing campaign to give America a raging case of Posh Fever, Victoria Beckham has decided to take her career in a bold new direction. Before she joins up with the Spice Girls reunion tour, she’s going to get up onstage with a bunch of aging, none too talented, and deeply unattractive harlots. Okay, that’s not such a bold new direction after all. But for those who care about Posh Spice, the word is that she’ll be touring with the Pussycat Dolls some time in the near future. According to someone the News of the World describes as an “insider”:

They’ve been blown away by Victoria since she arrived in L.A….They love her style and think she has the perfect figure for the group. They are all huge Spice Girl fans and can’t wait to have her on stage with them.

Joining up with PCD will put Victoria in the same select company as Carmen Electra, Denise Richards, and Jessica Simpson (among others), although it’s not at all clear which of these people has a career Posh would want to emulate. But the move shows there’s very little Posh won’t do to keep herself in the public eye. By next summer we can probably expect to see her driving on the celebrity NASCAR circuit.
