Isaac Hayes’ last will and testament is currently being probated, but one thing is already clear: the musician, actor, voice of Chef on South Park and prominent Scientologist basically invited the Church of Scientology to suck his salty chocolate balls. Hayes’ estate, like Gaul, is divided into three parts: one third divided among his children, one third for his widow and young son, and one third for his charitable foundation. The remainder—i.e., nada–goes to the Church of Scientology.

This has to be something of a shock to the Church, especially since various celebrity cultists made a point of attending, not just Hayes’ funeral, but the three different memorial services held to mark his passing.
