Award winning comic Rob Schneider has spent the decade or so since his departure from SNL making a series of deeply, painfully unfunny movies and engaging in public spats with critics who think his movies suck. But Rob has just gone a long way towards redeeming himself. After he stood in for Lindsay Lohan (who was suffering from a severe bout of DUI) on last Tuesday’s Tonight Show, Lnidsay’s mom Dina had some harsh words about Schneider’s insensitivity to her daughter’s plight. Refreshingly, Schneider declined to take the PC road and hit back, saying: “When Mrs. Lohan stops partying with her child, then I’ll have an ounce of respect for her.” He went on to address La Lohan directly:
Lindsay, get it together, America will forgive you but you gotta do something positive with your life…. I hope she does okay but at a certain point, there’s so many bigger problems in the world than Lindsay Lohan.
Well played, Mr. Schneider. Of course, this still doesn’t excuse the Deuce Bigelow movies. You’ll have to cure cancer or something to get off the hook for those.

Come on, Mr. A! The Duece movies are cinematic masterpieces.
Agreed. The Deuce movies are highly enjoyable (sure, that may sound like damning with faint praise, but it’s not, darnit).
Hey, no accounting for tastes. There are movies I like that I’d be ashamed to mention to the cool film-school kids (*koff*Titanic*koff*). Anyway, liking Deuce Bigelow isn’t nearly as serious an offense as making Deuce Bigelow.
