Lots of buzz has been going on concerning Rose McGowan’s drastically changed appearance of late. Rose has grown thinner and some unsubstantiated rumours persist that she is a “coke whore.” In addition, some unexplained eye droopiness has caused many to wonder if and why she underwent some plastic surgery as a preemptive attack on the aging process.
Rose’s (Roses) appearance at this year’s January Golden Globes ceremonies resulted in talk of botched surgery, and I hypothesized that the eye droopiness looked a lot more like eyeliner run amuck. After last weekend’s Oscars ceremonies, the gossip has grown to include a punch to the face with resultant black eyes. None of these assumptions appear to be the correct explanation, as Starpulse reports that for the past several months, Rose has been quietly recovering from an accident wherein her automobile’s airbag deployed and crushed her glasses into her gorgeous face. Ouch!

Gimme the scars. Shows a life lived. Besides, I’m a sucker for a chick in glasses…
Side-note: air bag deployments suck. The chemicals involved cause irritation to the skin and the cuts and scrapes that happen because you get smacked in the face by a air bag.
