What sort of “church” operates it very own intelligence agency and regularly issues lists of (literally) hundreds of its own enemies, or “Suppressive Persons“?

Why can’t the U.S. follow the lead of many countries, Greece and Germany among them, who have denied church status to Scientology and further stated that “the chief purpose of Scientology is not religious, but economical in nature.” France has gone even further. Yet, the U.S. still gives them the cult their precious tax-exempt status and largely looks past the vast history of associated deaths and “suicides” connected with Scientology.

It is widely-known that the cult’s founder, L. Ron Hubbard, declared that all those who oppose Scientology are enemies of mankind and true criminals:

Now get this as a technical fact, not a hopeful idea. Every time we have investigated the background of a critic of Scientology we have found crimes for which that person or group could be imprisoned under existing law. We do not find critics of Scientology who do not have criminal pasts.

Further, Hubbard infamously stated that Scientology should never acknowledge its own wrongdoings but concentrate on its attackers by attacking them: “The DEFENSE of anything is UNTENABLE.
