Since I’m running with the profanity theme lately, it seems appropriate to declare Gwyneth to be a major bitch.

Now don’t get me wrong, for I adore the British people, in particular, the ones on my blogroll. Wink wink, Nudge nudge. What irritates the ovaries outta me are the American celebrities who transplant themselves like parasites in the only remotely available foreign country where they don’t have to learn a new language, upon which time these celebrities proclaim their superiority for moving away from the States. After all, American popular culture is so gauche, right Madonna?

Now miss Gwyneth “Fake Acquired Accent” Paltrow shuns her native country, including Hollywood, which certainly hasn’t done her any favours besides pay her millions to star in crappy movies. Gwyneth has spoken out in admiration of the Brits hardiness in dealing with the 7/7 bombings, wherein fifty-two people lost their lives. Then she continues with a few low blows at those bloody Yanks:

“There were no multiple memorials with people sobbing as they would have been in America.”

I assume she speaks of the September 11th terrorist attacks, in which 2,986 people perished in various dehumanizing ways, or perhaps the Oklahoma City tragedy, where a meager 167 people were killed. Shame on us for mourning those losses - this coming from a woman who cried and sobbed to the tabloids when she was dumped by Brad Pitt.

Surprisingly, England is also on Gwyneth’s shit list, for its lack of customer service and dirty streets. So look for things to change over on that side of the pond, since Gwynnie’s on a crusade!
