While checking out this new poster for Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, I was ashamed to notice that Jude Law actually looks much hotter than Robert Downey Jr. does. No offense to smokin’ Downey, but his hair is kinda freaking me out here, and Jude’s usual hair issues are rather conveniently obscured by that marvelous hat. Not to mention the solitary raised eyebrow thing… damn.
At this moment, you may be asking yourself, “Exactly what has Bedhead been smoking today?” Regardless of the unanswerable, I definitely plan to see this flick, despite even that awful “Holmes For The Holiday” tagline. And, if I were smoking anything at all, I’d probably find that tagline to be rather hysterical.

You are kidding right ? How can anyone compare Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. I guess it is in whatever you like, I guess. No, I wasn’t thinking Robert had been smoking anything. The way that man is staring at the camera mesmerizes me. Robert has beautiful eyes. He just oozes sex appeal and charisma, and if that’s what he looks like in the morning (with bed hair) wake up next to me! Besides that sexy smirk on Roberts’ face, is much better than a raised eyebrow anyday. I can’t wait for the movie! Hurry up Christmas!!
Obviously, I’m not comfortable with finding Jude Law attractive in this photo! Perhaps I should go watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang again…

I’m really looking forward to this, in a totally non-gay way.
Looking at that poster, all I can think is, “What’s a young Dustin Hoffman doing in a shitty excuse for a Sherlock Holmes movie?”
Don’t get me wrong — Downey would be great, even in a merely-good Holmes flick. But based on the trailers, previews, and posters, the movie is Holmes-as-Brosnan-as-Bond.
But “shitty excuse” is a lot easier to say.
