Insane-yet-talented actor Billy Bob Thornton might have many phobias, but commitment isn’t one of them. In fact, when it comes to his ex Angelina Jolie, he carries a raging torrent of denial that makes that river in Egypt look like a leaky faucet. To hear Billy Bob tell it, that whole thing with Brad Pitt and the horde of little Jolie-Pitts is just a phase:

“She is just going through a high school phase. You know, dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there,” he said. “She’ll be waking up from that dream in no time. Who knows if I’ll be there when she’s ready to come to her senses though,” Thornton continued

Billy Bob, incidentally, is 52. He probably won’t be there “when she’s ready to come to her senses” because that’s not going to happen any time in the next fifty years, and hard-charging alpha Hollywood males like Thornton rarely make it past their centennial. But keep hope alive, Billy Bob. At least you’ll always have “Angelina.”
