Not too long ago, Gwyneth “Don’t Hate Me Just Because I Hate You” Paltrow defended her GOOP and also issued the following statement of arrogance:

How could people hate me, my intentions or what I’m trying to do? I’m a good person and I’m trying to put good things into the world.

Well, it seems that GPal’s karmic output may not be so benevolent after all because the narcissists have taken over:

As Slate’s Emily Yoffe lays bare, our culture is being held hostage and our headlines dominated by people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, who “act as if they are special beings who are exceptionally intelligent, accomplished, beautiful, or sexy (or all of the above), to whom lesser people (pretty much everyone else) must bow.”

Since drugs can’t cure NPD even if narcissists asked to be treated—which they don’t because, obviously, they love themselves—there may be no stopping the nightmare.

This is a stunningly accurate description of GPal herself, who would insist that anyone who doesn’t adore her just “doesn’t understand.” Remember, as far as she’s concerned, we’re all mere “pedestrians.”
