Seriously, though, I was fully prepared to wait for The Dark Knight to hit the DVD racks before watching it because, you know, I just couldn’t get with the fanboy program on this one. That, and it seemed oddly disrespectful of Heath Ledger, whose coffin has barely just been nailed shut, to flock to the film just for his performance. Sort of like staring at the aftermath of a car accident. However, I do ♥ me some Maggie Gyllenhaal, so I may just be able to justify going to the theater for some TDK.
