
Nobody has ever accused Jay Leno of being highbrow entertainment. Actually, considering his skyrocketing audience, he might not even qualify as entertainment. But he’s pretty consistently professional, and his “Jay Walking” routines provide some sort of public service by highlighting the amazing ignorance of all too many people. So it was a bit surprising to see Jay take it right on his prominent chin last night in a routine about students Twittering plot outlines of the classics in 145 characters or less.
