
In retrospect, American Idol seems so much less disturbing. William Shatner, the David Hasselhoff of his generation, is hosting an online contest to find that special person who can fill his velour uniform. Contestants can enter their home-made videos in a range of categories, including—you gotta love this—“a brief homage to Bill’s career.� There’s a link to the contest website, should you want to mock the submissions or, God forbid, submit an entry. As long as they’re online, contestants might want to sign up for this service, because I suspect they fall squarely in the target market.

Phin, after seeing this post, I’d say the Llamas are at the front of the, um, herd.
