Sometimes, You Really Gotta Know When To Fold 'Em

Duff McKagen and Billy Idol

Does anyone comprehend why Aerosmith continues to insist upon pumping out music that will never measure up to what it did decades ago? As it turns out, the band still plans on continuing during a planned extended hiatus for lead singer Steven Tyler, and the frontrunning replacement candidate is none other than… Billy Idol. Less bizarre is the news that Jane’s Addiction has, once again, lost founding bassist Eric Avery and are currently recording in the studio with Duff McKagan on bass. Still, why not just put these cows out to pasture?
