And I have heard the new Gwen Stefani single, and it heavily samples (in fact is based upon) the tune with ‘High on a Hill Lived a Lonely Goatherd, yodel ayee’, from the Sound of Music. And it’s actually not bad!! Not as good as Robbie Williams new single, but that won’t sell outside Britain. Dunno why.
And I should have followed the link to the Gwen Stefani page, which says what I said, but more succinctly.

In fact, I bought the new Robbie Williams album at Heathrow this morning, Rudebox, whose title track is the single I’m referring to. I’d link to it but the link button has disappeared from my browser, and me no do html.
