David and Victoria Beckham have been cast as wax figures in the NYC Times Square Madame Tussauds wax museum. On Tuesday, this bloodless and boobless monstrosity was revealed while the ebullient strains of Neil Diamond’s “America” played in the background.
Their wax figures were decked out in American flags for their U.S.[sic] debut. But they’ll don different duds for their display duties: Becks will be dressed in a tuxedo, while Posh will sport a sparkly green dress with a long slit on the side.
Meanwhile, Posh has been looking for a “Life Director” to orchestrate their move to Los Angeles in June. Sylvester Stallone offers some unsolicited advice:
If he wants to be taken seriously he might want to tone down the other side of his life – the high society side. In America, if you’re an athlete you have to look like an athlete… The US audience doesn’t like the Rolls Royces and the showy lifestyle – they like the humility. In America, showing off the superstar lifestyle can be perceived as, “Look at what I’ve got and you don’t.”
I would wager that Posh won’t exactly view Hollywood with the same sunglasses after a few months.

I would never have picked Posh as the one to become an international role model / megastar / icon. My money was on Ginger. Shows what I know ;p
I have big, serious doubts that Posh will catch on with Americans. Her scrawniness, snottiness, poutiness, and general air of English-y weirdness — none of which manages to disguise her guttersnipe essence –doesn’t seem likely to appeal to Americans. She’ll get attention from the papparazzi, no doubt, but she will get old fast.
Becks, on the other hand, is dumb as a rock but truly a gorgeous hunk ‘o man. Should he give in to the temptation to ditch Posh for a Hollywood blonde he might get somewhere. Posh is prolly the one with the real class aspirations anyway.
I think she is hideous – her body was voted the most unattractive by men and women alike a while ago.
