As most of you know, I’m something of an Anglophile, so I’m predisposed to find Russell Brand amusing, but I really do think that the bloke is a talented comic. And even though Russell does possess an entirely disgusting mop of hair and look as if he smells like a dead rodent soaked in cheap cologne, there’s still something slightly irresistable about him, which probably owes much to his rather charismatic nature. Still, the type of raunchy comedy that Russell specializes within is definitely most effective in moderation (best illurstrated by Russell’s restrained portrayal of Aldous Snow within Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and very easy to overdo (which is what appears to be occurring with the very same character in the upcoming Get Him to the Greek). Furthermore, I don’t even begin to understand how actor Seth Rogen Jonah Hill is playing a different role, Aaron Green, in Greek than the character, Matthew the Waiter, that he played in Sarah Marshall. Then again, I’m not a rich and famous movie director, so what the hell do I know? I’m obviously just a jealous bitch who hides behind her laptop and says mean and snarky things about successful people. You know, since everybody obviously has the same career goals in life or some shit.
All of this brings me to my main point, which is wondering what all of this blogging stuff even accomplishes. It really only deters me from my real writing goals, and this server/hosting crap has pushed me to such distraction that I’ve apparently alienated the hell out of most of you darling readers. Perhaps the beginning of the end has already occurred. Bygones.

I pray it’s the end of Jonah Hill too. Talk about overrated.
I’m not feeling particularly alienated, but I’m a total dork for you. So there’s that.
Its Jonah Hill, not Seth! But they are fairly interchangeable…
OMG. I even looked up Jonah Hill to find out his characters’ name in Greek…. and I still typed “Seth Rogan,” who is more likeable than Hill… oops.
Hunter S. Thompson put it best: Don’t take any guff from those fucking swine. This blog is one of my workday reading highlights.
Blogging is a tough biz. And Russell is an unfunny twat. He is to humor what Dave Matthews is to music.
