No one has ever accused Kate Moss of being bright, but lately she’s having a definite learning experience. The thirty-something waif is learning that romance with Pete Doherty, much like a chlamydia infection, is something you continue to regret long after the initial infestation has departed. Right now Pete is trying to close a deal with ITV2, which is offering Pete $1,000,000 to tell all about his relationship with Kate in an upcoming documentary called “Kate & Pete: A Love Story.” The deal would include access to the sex tapes the couple shot before they parted ways. Easy money for Pete, costing nothing more than the dignity and decency he never had in the first place. Plus, if he falls off the wagon it’ll pay his heroin bill for a week, maybe even ten days.

Kate is ready to sue to keep this from happening. According to Mr. Anonymous Source, who is close friends with everyone in the entertainment industry:

Kate is furious with Pete. She has contacted her lawyers and plans to get an injunction to stop the production. Some of it is really raunchy stuff Kate believed would never be seen by anyone else.

The rest of us can only hope Kate succeeds, mostly because home videos of her doing “raunchy stuff” with that pasty little homunculus would be the sexual equivalent of those splatter films they used to show us in Driver’s Ed. Of course, if Jamie Lynn Spears had sat through a couple of these videos she’d be well on her way to becoming a nun. So I guess there’s an argument to be made for their release.
